A Place Where Students Can Grow

Junior high and high school are formative years where you begin asking big questions about identity, faith, and purpose. This space helps students build real friendships, grow in their faith, and learn to live out what they believe.

Built for Junior High and High School Students

Students in grades 6–12 have environments designed for their stage of life. Each group creates space for friendships, conversations about faith, and experiences that help students grow spiritually and personally.

Junior High

Grades 6–8

Junior High is a time when friendships and identity begin taking shape. Students experience fun, engaging environments where they can build relationships, ask questions, and begin understanding who they are in Christ.

High School 

Grades 9–12

High school students are encouraged to grow deeper in their faith while stepping into leadership. These years focus on developing personal conviction, serving others, and learning how to live out faith beyond church gatherings.

When Students Gather

Students connect through Sunday morning gatherings and weekly evening experiences designed for their stage of life. These environments combine teaching, relationships, and shared experiences that help students grow in faith and community.

The Junior High Gathering
Sunday Mornings

The Gathering is the Sunday morning environment designed specifically for junior high students. Students connect with peers their age through games, conversations, and biblical teaching that helps them understand how faith applies to everyday life.

High School
Sunday Mornings

8:30 AM | 10:00 AM | 11:30 AM

High school students participate in the main worship gathering on Sunday mornings. This allows them to engage in worship with the wider church community while continuing to build relationships with other students throughout the week.

Merge+ Sunday Nights
6-12th Grade

 5:30-7:30pm

Merge+ is our weekly Sunday evening student gathering where junior high and high school students come together to worship, hear biblical teaching, build meaningful friendships, and learn how to follow Jesus alongside other students. The night includes food, games, worship, and small groups designed for each age group.

Serve
Throughout the Year

Students serve too. From welcoming guests on Sunday mornings to leading younger kids in Kidventure and supporting mission trips throughout the year, students have real opportunities to use their gifts inside the church and across our community.

Ways Students Can Grow

Students are encouraged to grow through opportunities that help them deepen their faith, serve others, and develop leadership skills. These environments allow students to build friendships while discovering how their faith shapes everyday life.

Leadership Development

Students are encouraged to grow as leaders by serving others and mentoring younger students. Leadership development helps students take responsibility for their faith while learning how to influence others in positive ways.

Small Groups

Small groups provide smaller environments where students study the Bible, ask honest questions, and build friendships with others who want to grow in their faith.

Student Conference

Every February students gather for a conference designed to encourage their faith and strengthen their connection with God and one another.

Student Worship and Tech Teams

Students can participate in worship and production environments where they develop musical and technical skills while helping lead gatherings. These opportunities allow students to serve and take ownership of their involvement in the church community.

Summer Camp

Summer camp gives students a unique opportunity to step away from everyday routines and focus on worship, biblical teaching, and meaningful conversations that help shape their faith.

Spring Break Trips and Retreats

Spring break trips and retreats provide opportunities for students to serve, connect, and grow spiritually while experiencing time together outside their normal weekly environment.

Bible Studies, Hangouts, and Worship Nights

Seasonal gatherings such as Bible studies, hangouts, and worship nights help students build friendships and deepen their faith through shared experiences and time spent together.

Family Serve Days

Serve days allow families to work together as they help others and support the church community. These experiences teach teens that faith includes serving others and making a difference alongside their family.

A Safe and Supportive Environment

Students grow best when they feel safe, known, and supported. Careful leader selection, training, and structured small groups help create an environment where students can ask questions, build friendships, and grow in their faith.

Training

Leaders receive training that prepares them to guide students, create welcoming environments, and support families well while students are participating in weekly gatherings and activities.

Background Checks

Every adult serving with students completes a background check before joining the team. This process helps ensure that the leaders guiding and caring for students are trustworthy and prepared to serve responsibly.

Resources for Parents

Parents play a vital role in the spiritual growth of students. These resources help families stay connected with what students are learning and provide encouragement as parents guide their teenagers through junior high and high school.
