Let's Make Disciples

At Second Baytown, we believe in following the words of Jesus to His disciples to make disciples of all men. These words found in Matthew 28:19 are a non-negotiable command to all who consider themselves followers of Christ… As a result, it’s our desire that everyone who professes faith in Christ would be obedient to that call. At Second, we facilitate that opportunity in several ways… Each year we have at least two opportunities to go and be involved in the disciple making process in other lands. We partner with two specific ministries in Haiti and Kenya and we take teams there to go and bring the message of Jesus in those countries. We also encourage our members to be involved in local ministries right here in the Baytown community. One of the local ministries that we serve each month is Hearts and Hands of Baytown.
