For by Him (Jesus) all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together." (Colossians 1:16-17, ESV)
There is no lack to the supremacy of Jesus. Scripture is clear that He is sovereign over everything that exists in both the seen and the unseen world. There is great comfort in the truth that Jesus is supreme over anything we will ever face.
At the same time that we uphold the supremacy of Christ over all things. Sometimes life stinks. Grief can be overwhelming and suffering is real. So, how do Christians navigate the two simultaneous (seemingly opposite) truths that Christ is sovereign and suffering is real?
Our goal in this study is to equip you to see how God is working in all things (even difficult things) to bring you closer to Himself and to train our hearts to make room for the sovereignty of God as we take part in His great mission.
Our prayer is that this study would inspire you and challenge you to greater faithfulness to Jesus.
